Graepel-Steg
The edged contour of the Graepel-Steg has a C profile. The surface is characterized by upward-facing round perforation (d = 12 mm) and elongated down-facing punched holes, corrugated at the bottom in order to strengthen the transverse structural rigidity. The embossment is raised by a maximum of only 4 mm. The profile height of 16 mm in the transverse direction of the grating allows a high point load. The open cross-section is approx. 28 %. Despite its wide displacement space and a high drainage effect, a ball of ≥ 16 mm will not drop through. Graepel-Steg has a high slip resistance. The maximum embossed field is 270 mm wide.
Thanks to the high transverse rigidity of the grating’s surface, the Graepel-Steg embossment is able to absorb high point loads, even with larger grate widths. For example, the Graepel-Steg can be used to cover gutters along road sides. The gratings are also suitable for surfaces which dollies pass over.
Furthermore, Graepel-Steg has already been used as design element for cladding facades. It is also possible to use this embossment for enclosures and covers.
